[oops. Didn't notice this} Tail wagging, the husky entered the junkyard happily, glad he had finally found home. His snout went into action as the scents filled his nostrils, telling him who had been here. Appearantly, not very many. A stray or two, Ashley and the other brute was all. ~ More cautious than the other, came the beagle her optics flicking around suspiciously. Who or what could be around here? Paws stepped down apon the dirt ground for the grass.

A positon? It matters us none. We really don't care The husky spoke, shrugging in a dog-like way. It took a minute to reach down, lapping up the rain water that had puddled in an old can. He was of course, careful to not cut it.

[writers block is when you can't think of something to write/type
Anything will do The husky said, taking a glance at his long lasted friend. He was sure she didn't care about positions, she was too busy waiting for something to jump out at her. She had become parnoid in the past years, even though she had always been more cautious. The beagle was smart, being the way she was for the world was filled with danger.

Seeing as Quicksilver was not responding, Yogi took the liberty of speaking to the female. Yeah, that's fine. Thanks. Tail wagging slowly he approached the old friend. Something wrong? He asked, the concern showing in his voice. The snow hued husky really was truelly a great lug, sweet as could be. But defensive against his or his friend's beliefs.~ Quicksilver listened to the two way convorsation, thinking for what the catch to this offer could be. All her life when it came to good deals, or lucky chances, she had always had a price to pay in the end. Glancing up at the looming figure, she let a tired smile flicker across her labrums at his attempt. I'm fine Yogi, just trying to figure out what the catch is. There's got to be one. Nothing comes free anymore. She spoke, glancing towards the female.

Ashley chuckled. No, no catch! She sighed.Let me tell you what you rule and about your ranks. The king and I rule over all ranks. When we die both of you rule.So far you rule Beta, Gamma, and Omega.....I hope I didn't miss a rank. She smiled friendly. What were you actually expecting, my dear?

Quicksilver glanced up upon the higher belle, deciding whether to answer or not. She wasn't the type to be nice to most or all. It just wasn't her way. Jowls parted slowly to let out careful words.Trickery. A price. Anything It was the begining of her speaking, she had just decided to pause for a moment. I lived a hard life dear and nothing comes cheap nowadays. Something like this doesn't come easily.

She shook her head and continued to smile. You are right but there is no "trickery" or "a price."She paused to catch her own breath.Nothing to worry.I don't make anybody pay a price. She looked back at the chicken she had nibbled on earlier. It was still on that stained, beat up table. She looked to the two new members.May we feast? There's chicken on the table.Other foods are also scattered along this place. She bobbed her head to one side.

Though she distrusted the stranger she snorted at her comments, to let her know she understood. As she offered her the food that had been lain earlier, her suspcious gaze switching to it. I don't eat food offered from strangers Quicksilve stated simply padding off to find some other kind of food. ~ Yogi glanced uneasily at his friend then his lead. I'll have to apoligize for her. She's not very.. He left off not really knowing how to describe her. She was just odd like that. Different.

Ashley's exspression never faded. That will be fine, QuicksilverShe turned to Yogi. That's alright....Even though I don't know why she would be so...kind of...She bobbed her head to one side.Is she always like that?I mean, I gave her food, shelter-She pointed her nose to several dens in the ground. The dens were cool in Summertime and warm in Wintertime.she continued. And family....She sighed.
[God Katie, she gave Quiky family, food, and a home! Why's she soo snotty!?]

[she's not snotty.. lol she's just...like that ] Yogie sighed, glancing towards the ground. The only bad thing about his friend was she never trusted she didn't know. Yeah for awhile she will be. She's not being snotty though, she just doesn't trust others. He started, glancing at the dens that she had just pointed out. And we're grateful for the things you offer. Quicksilver just doesn't trust you...give her time. She'll get used to you in the end. Its her past that makes her this way. ~ As if she knew they were talking about her, crania turned to look at them before laying on the ground. Daggers nawed at the fraying, emerald body-harness that the twolegs had put upon her. [btw, what season is it?]

[k-k ] She nodded. Yes, I'm sure she will change. She watch Quicksilver naw at the body harness. Her eyes widened. My goodness, would you like me to help?We have a cutting tool in that corner over there. In one spot was a knife, tangled in some wire and yarn. All you have to do is carefully rub your back on that to cut it loose. She looked around. We have plenty of helpful things around here that people dump.

Quicky glanced up at the husky, her gaze unwavering. She simply listened to the lead's speaking. Optics flicked over to the knife, considering her chances. But in the end, she just returned to nawing at the harness. Soon the threads snapped and she was free, the bitter taste of material on her tongue. The snowflakes drifted down lazily, settling on her coat and wetting it. A few stuck though, giving her small, ivory dots.
